Are you ready to put your problem-solving skills to the test? The Johns Hopkins Graduate Consulting Club (JHGCC) is thrilled to announce our annual Case Competition, coming this spring! Open to graduate students across all schools at The Johns Hopkins University, this competition promises an exhilarating challenge and incredible networking opportunities.
Here's what you need to know:
This internal Johns Hopkins case competition will consist of two rounds. The top 10 teams will advance to the semi-final and final rounds at Carey Business School on April 27th, 2024. The total prize for this competition is up to $5000.
Our case competition features Hibiscus Health - a health-tech startup that aims to transform preventive healthcare through advanced technology. Its innovative solution leverages AI-powered non-invasive facial blood flow analysis for the early detection of metabolic health issues.
To support Hibiscus in expanding this solution, our case competition will focus on two themes. Each team can choose one of the two option tracks below:
1. Early detection of chronic diseases using deep tech (Clinical/Tech).
2. Developing a go-to-market strategy and ROI model (Business).
To apply for the competition, one member from your team must submit this registration form in its entirety, including the resume for each team member. In addition, we require that:
1. Your team must consist of 3-5 members who are masters, post-docs, MD, or PhD students, with at least 1 MBA student per team.
2. Each team be interdisciplinary and include at least one member that is from a different discipline than that of the rest of the team (i.e. all team members cannot be from the same department/degree programs).
The deadline for registration is 11:59 pm ET on April 10th, 2024. We will notify all accepted teams by April 12th, 2024. More information on the timeline, detail prompt and competition logistics will be released then.
If you have any questions, please contact JHGCC Co-President of Case Competition Sheena Cadua at [email protected].
Don't miss out on this incredible opportunity to gain hands-on experience, enhance your problem-solving skills, and connect with like-minded individuals. Apply now and join us for an unforgettable journey at the 2024 JHGCC Case Competition! 🚀
